A hearty wel­come to After Forty Tennis—a site for the ten­nis enthu­si­ast who hap­pens to be over forty years of age. You don’t have to be over forty to use this site. Plenty of the infor­ma­tion through­out will apply to all ages. Much of the fit­ness and nutri­tion sec­tions apply not only to ten­nis but to the gen­eral pop­u­la­tion as a whole. The ten­nis how-to sec­tion is rel­e­vant to any­one who can swing a ten­nis rac­quet! The ten­nis strate­gies are smart moves for all ages. How­ever, the main focus is for the middle-aged to senior ath­lete who wishes to improve his/her ten­nis game, to enjoy robust health through­out life and to under­stand the aging process and how to han­dle those inevitable ups and downs that come with the gray hairs and laugh lines.

This health-first fit­ness pro­to­col is tailor-made for ath­letes over the age of forty. (Actu­ally, it is an excel­lent fit­ness reg­i­men for any­one.) With an empha­sis on joint mobil­ity and “get­ting into flow,” CST is a great way to get into play­ing shape. If you are already fit, CST will take your fit­ness to another level you never thought pos­si­ble. Ten­nis spe­cific exer­cise reg­i­mens will be offered as well.
